Wherever, Whenever- Globalink.     Recently, residents of Tbilisi, Georgia were treated to a fascinating performance by none other than the famous sashaying Shakira. Singing to a packed concert crowd, Shakira had all her fans swaying to her music and signing along. A truly great concert. Making this possible for all Tbilisians and others, was Globalinks very own Tbilisi office. Given the responsibility for customs clearance of the singers equipment and concert related items, approximately 15 tones, our Tbilisi team certainly had their work cut out for them. This was definitely one such occasion where their weekend was not going to be a leisurely one. The singers equipment arrived at Tbilisi airport on Friday from Dubai and had to be customs cleared and delivere3d that very day to the concert site as stage setup and rehearsal was scheduled for Saturday. Having developed a reputation for being both reliable and thorough, our Tbilisi staff did not let down. The shipment was cleared in few hours and delivered to the concert location. Rehearsal went smoothly and the concert itself was an incredible success. With Shakira having a tight schedule and due to leave the next day, Globalink Tbilisi went to work packing up all the equipment as soon as the concert was over as the shipment had to be delivered to Tbilisi airport that night in order for it to catch the Monday noon flight back to Dubai. Our experienced and skilled packing crew did a fine job and ensured that unlike Shakira, the equipment would not sway; and it didnt. While not one of the biggest jobs handled by Globalink Georgia, this was certainly a high profile and time sensitive move, but with years of experience and professional know-how, everything was pulled off smoothly.
